Tranziztor is the spawn of a popular independent film site from 2006.

The organization had several requests for the website code code from companies wanting to make similar sites. It was realized from the number of people that had approached the company, and the experience of the founders, creating a full video destination is not simple, and is in fact serious business.  There is a large gap between building a company site with a few html pages and simple cms, to building an online video application with a massive scalable database, scalable encoding solutions, user interface with UGC options, viral components, recommendations engines, multi codec media player, CDNintegrations, and everything it takes to build an easy to use feature rich online video publishing platform.

The company made the decision to repurpose the software as an enterprise software solution. It was  rebuilt  so that clients can customize the platform.  Clients can turn major features and functions on or off, depending on your company's goals (such as allowing user uploads), and change the look and feel of the site to match your brand, all without writing a single line of code.  This is Tranziztor’s flagship product: Platform264.

Since then the company has started offering satellite products and partner offerings that are complimentary to the Platform, and can also be bought independently. Clients can purchase Player264, our Content Delivery Services, Custom encoding solutions, or custom development.  As a whole, the objective is to utilize our online video software solutions to make online video simple companies around the world.
